The best option will depend on the required framing arrangement, doors, windows, glass and architectural details.
Is FaceLINE™ completely flush on the outside?
FaceLINE™ positions the glass close to the exterior face, creating a near-flush appearance with minimal projecting ledges. The exact relationship between the glass, covers and surrounding frame depends on the selected configuration.
Does FaceLINE™ help reduce dust build-up?
Yes. Positioning the glass close to the exterior face reduces the depth of external transom ledges, which can help limit areas where dust and debris collect. Regular cleaning and maintenance will still be required.
Can FaceLINE™ accommodate double glazing?
Some systems are designed for glass between 6mm and 10.38mm rather than standard insulating glass units.
Where double glazing is required, MJ Architectural can recommend a compatible double-glazed CentreGLAZE™, FrontGLAZE™ or ThermalHEART™ framing system.
Can FaceLINE™ integrate with sliding doors?
Some systems are designed to complement compatible with sliding doors.
Can opening windows be incorporated?
Compatible SlideMASTER™ sliding windows and other selected opening modules may be incorporated, depending on the chosen framing platform and project configuration.
Is FaceLINE™ suitable for multi-storey façades?
FaceLINE™ is designed for one and two-storey shopfront applications and is not a curtain wall system. Projects involving taller façades or curtain wall construction require a different system.
